This is Fun at the Pond stuff — a place where you might find a new program idea, and maybe a tail slapper or two. We're always looking for ideas. Usually, someone shares them with us, we copy someone else's great idea, or they come from the kids, books, or the web. If it's exciting or funny, you'll probably find it here.
Beaver Tales — Beaver-age children do and say the darndest things. Here are a few of our recollections. Craft Projects and Ideas — Craft and project ideas with links to craft web sites with more ideas than you'll ever need. Create an Activity Chest — A treasure chest of physical activities you can use as a "back pocket" program, or to surprise your Beavers. Finger Plays — For many well known rhymes, here are the associated finger, hand and body movements that make them fun. Games and Activities — Games we have collected, games that have been sent to us from visitors to this site, and links to even more games. Holding a Successful Beaveree — The details and "how to" for putting together a Beaveree. Jokes, Riddles and Tongue Twisters — While their humour level may be developing, here's are Beaver-level jokes, riddle and tongue twisters. Jokes include tail slappers, knock-knock jokes, and elephant jokes. Poems and Verses — A collection of nonsense and humorous poems and verses. Rhythms and Chants — No a song and not a story, but get your Colony up and involved in these fun, repetitive activities. Songs for Beavers — Songs and variations of songs.
