Mom Makes It Best
This is a collection of the things that mom makes best (according to our experts). Beavers were asked: What goes it? How much? What do mom does with it? How long does mom cook it?
Their comments and observations were duly recorded and combined with their artistic renderings of mom in the kitchen — whipping up the speciality! The result are these recipes. Enjoy.

Soup — Amy O.
- Use Quicken Noodle Soup.
- Mom puts it on the stove in this big container.
- She puts the stuff in it.
- She cooks it for about 10 minutes.
- Really, really, hot!
- Put ice in it to cool it down, and puts a spoon in it to eat out of bowl.
Chocolate Chip Cookies — Willy N.
- I like to eat them in my bed.
- She cooks them by putting them in the stove.
- Use some cookie batter.
- Of course she uses some chocolate chips — and some eggs.
- She cooks it for 165 for a few minutes.
- It makes 20 cookies and lasts a few days — definitely a few days.
Roast Beef — Curtis R.
- How do I know how she makes it?
- She puts it in the stove in a big pot and makes it really hot, for about 2 hours.
- Then she put on gravy, cuts in many pieces, and has it for Easter.
Apple Pie — Naomi J.
- My mother uses apples and pies — and chocolates and bananas.
- She cooks it for about 10 minutes; really hot, hot, hot, hot, in the stove, until it gets warm.
- I like cream cream — red cream, yellow cream and white cream.
Hot Dogs with Candy and Pickles — Justin W.
- Start with some pickles.
- Add a hot dog — just one.
- Put the same candy in as always.
- Cook for about 3 minutes, a little bit cold and a little bit warm.
Barbecue — Robert S.
- Add some hamburger and meat.
- Make it pretty hot for about 3 minutes.
- Makes 4 for 4 people.
Apple, Carrot, Lollipop and Ice — Brandon M.
- Get ice cream from the freezer; and carrots, lollipops and apples from the oven.
- The lollipop should come from Walt Disney World.
- Cook for about a million hours until it's too hot.
Mister Noodles and Shrimp — Megan A.
- Open a package of Mr. Noodles.
- Pour in a pot — about medium.
- Cook the shrimp (make sure you draw them in the picture for me).
- She sends me to do something until it's ready.
- She puts the sauce in, and then we eat it.
Kraft Dinner and Hotdog — Tyler M.
- Made out of some cheese for a Kraft dinner.
- Make the hotdogs out of meat.
- Just put the hotdogs and Kraft dinner stuff in a bowl.
- Don't make it hot — just warm for my sister.
- Cook for 12 minutes.

- In about 15 minutes.
Chocolate Chip Cookies — Taylor B.
- She puts in some eggs, chocolate chips, milk and white sugar.
- I don't know how long, but not too long.
- Makes 29 cookies.
Hotdog — Amber L.
- I like them with just ketchup and a lollipop for dessert.
