Tail Slap is a web site about Beavering, the junior section of Scouts Canada. The intended audience is Colony Scouters, and those interested in the Beaver and equivalent programs. It is about communication — for sharing information, and for providing links to other web sites. Hopefully, we can add to your program, your understanding of the age group, and some of the issues of our time.

The intent of the site is to either give or direct you to information you can't ordinarily get from scouting books. It is information based on our collective experience.

It is not intended to show how great any one program is or one person's knowledge — far from it. The ideas are a combination of those from the Service Team, various Beaver colonies in this area, and hopefully, your questions, comments and contributions.

If you have any comments or ideas, please, pass them along. The object here is variety and improvement, and as the Beaver motto says, and we truly believe in, "Sharing. Sharing. Sharing."
