Beaver-Size Servings

There's a wide variation in food portions for your Beavers. The amount of food they need depends on their age, body size, activity level, growth rate and appetite. That's why a Beaver-size serving is anywhere from one-half to the full size for foods in each food group, as indicated by Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating. Generally, the size of portion increases with age. The following chart will give you an idea of what to expect as you plan your next camp menu.
