Parent Involvement Document
This is another sample of a document that could be given and discussed with your parents and/or guardians. It's important to get them on your side, and supporting your leadership team in the running of the program.
First Meeting of the Year — A Parents Meeting
The reason for this [first] meeting is to familiarize parents and guardians with Scouting, the group, and the Colony. It explains the relationships and the reasons behind why we do certain things at certain times during the year.
