Scouts Canada Screening Strategy
This is a link to the Scouts Canada web site where it describes the screening policy. Scouts Canada's strategy for screening volunteers begins with the invitation to join, and continues with steps to confirm suitability, followed by ongoing supervision and proper volunteer management practices. These steps are an extension of the Volunteer Recruitment and Development Strategy (VRAD). VRAD seeks to first find the right person for a role, and then to provide the resources, coaching and assistance required to be successful.
